Plague Facts: - Plague has three forms: bubonic plague (infection of the lymph glands), septicemia plague (infection of the blood), and pneumonic plague (infection of the lungs). Pneumonic plague can spread from person to person. - Nowadays plague is treatable with antibiotics if detected early enough.
Cucklett Delf was used as a place of worship during the plague of 1665 - 1666. A memorial service is held here annually, on Plague Sunday.
